Hello again you lovely people.
Today is my birthday. I got a rather splendidly orange (well, terracotta) instax camera. I’ve been after one for ages, and I love it already. It’s deliciously large and chunky and takes square photos which hark back to the old Polariod days.
Though the button is really sensitive, as evidenced by the first shot I took.
That said, it’s rather apt - a photo of my pack of film. I quite like it.
Naturally, photo #2 was one of a cat. I present Mr LokiCat, looking handsome AF and only slightly grumpy.
Then later in the day, I thought ooh, that sky looks rather good, I’ll take a photo.
No, that’s not a UFO. Note to self: the flash is automatic and you can’t turn it off, so don’t take photos through glass.
It’s going to be a learning curve, this instant photography lark.
But what fun we’ll have along the way.
Happy birthday, lots of love from the Western Isles xx
Happy Birthday, Dave
